# Team settings

> Choose your meeting format, coaching preferences, and optional features.

Open your team's settings from the dashboard or its page in **Admin → Teams**. The settings you can edit depend on your role and the features enabled for your organization.

## Coaching

Administrators choose the team's default analysis type, coaching mode, and target duration. Select the format that matches how the team actually runs its meetings.

These settings guide the analysis of new meetings. Use the selected format's agenda and timing as a starting point, then adjust the available settings to fit your team.

## Upcoming meetings

Review calendar events that have synchronized to the team. Check the time and analysis type before the meeting starts.

An administrator can change an upcoming meeting's analysis type if it needs a different format from the team default.

## Icebreakers

When available, enable icebreakers and choose the number, topic, and depth of the questions. Topics can be personal, professional, or both.

Save your changes and choose a depth appropriate for the team.

## Recording

An administrator can choose the default capture method: **Meeting link** or **Record or upload audio**. Both methods remain available from the dashboard.

**One speaker per device** associates each device's audio stream with its participant.

<Warning>
  Leave **One speaker per device** off when people share a room microphone or device. Otherwise, their speech may be attributed to one person.
</Warning>

The setting applies to new recordings. Contact support if an earlier meeting needs help with speaker attribution.

## One Thing

One Thing tracks a participant's specific improvement goal across meetings. It must be enabled at both the organization and team levels.

Use a concrete goal that can be observed in a meeting. For example: “State my proposed solution when I raise an issue.”

## Scribe

Enable Scribe to capture spoken requests addressed to **“Scribe…”** during meetings. Review the results in the report's **Scribe** tab.

## Memory contribution

In the team's admin page, use **Memory contribution** to choose whether the team has its own priorities, supports another team, or contributes only to organization context.

Before selecting a receiving team, review [how Insights sharing works](/guides/insights#how-teams-contribute). This can expose the supporting team's memory and evidence to members of the receiving team.
