Organization owners, administrators, and team facilitators can add meetings this way.

Choose how to add the meeting

Select Add a meeting in the sidebar, on Home, on Meetings, or on the team’s page. If you can add meetings to more than one team, choose the team first. Then choose one of these: Other team members see the team’s calendar addresses in Add a meeting, with a note that recording, uploads, and transcripts are for the team’s facilitators.

Record or upload audio

Record in the room and Upload a recording both open Record or upload meeting audio, on the matching tab. You can switch between Record and Upload file at the top. The team you chose is already selected.
  1. Under Microphone, choose the microphone if you have more than one.
  2. Select the record button and allow your browser to use the microphone.
  3. Check that Mic input moves when people speak. TenTenor warns you if it hears no sound or if the audio is clipping.
  4. Keep the page open while you record. Use Pause and Resume if you need a break, then select Stop recording.
  5. Check the Meeting format, Meeting date, and Meeting title. If you leave the title empty, TenTenor names the meeting after the team and date.
  6. Select Upload & analyze.
A browser microphone recording captures what the microphone hears. It does not automatically capture another app’s audio. After you stop, Download recording saves a copy to your computer in case the upload fails.
For a room recording, place the microphone where it can hear the whole group. Let one person speak at a time when possible.

Import a transcript

Paste a transcript opens Import past meeting, with the team you chose already selected:
  1. Check the Meeting format.
  2. Enter the Meeting title and Meeting date.
  3. Paste the Transcript, or choose Upload .txt file. The file picker also accepts supported text, CSV, VTT, and SRT transcripts.
  4. Keep speaker names and timestamps where available.
  5. Select Import & analyze.
Use the meeting’s actual date so it appears in the right place in the team’s history.
A transcript import does not add the underlying recording. Speaking-time estimates depend on the speaker turns and information in the transcript.

After submission

TenTenor opens the meeting’s page, which shows its progress, such as Transcribing audio… or Analysis in progress…, and then the report when it is ready. The meeting also appears under In progress on Meetings and in Latest reports on Home. Processing time depends on the input and current workload. If a recording fails or transcription is deferred, see troubleshooting. If the options are missing, ask an administrator to check your team role.
