Open a team’s settings from the gear beside the team in the sidebar, or from the Settings tab on the team’s page. Owners and administrators can open every team’s settings. Facilitators can open the settings of the teams they facilitate. Owners and administrators can also select Team settings on the team’s page in Manage teams. On a wide screen, the sections appear as a menu beside the settings: Coaching, Upcoming meetings, Icebreakers, Recording, One Thing, and Scribe. The settings you can edit depend on your role and the features enabled for your organization.

Coaching

Owners and administrators choose the team’s coaching settings. Facilitators can see them but not change them.
  • Default meeting type: the meeting format that matches how the team actually runs its meetings.
  • Coach style: Supportive, Default, or Blunt. It changes the tone of the feedback only, not the scores, criteria ratings, or extracted actions.
  • Override target duration: a different target length for the team’s meetings.
  • Agenda timings: how long each part of the meeting should take, or 0 to leave a part out of the team’s agenda. Once the team has recorded meetings in that format, the average actual minutes appear beside each part.
One Save changes button at the bottom of the tab saves all of these together. Adjust the timing explains the duration and agenda settings. These settings guide the analysis of new meetings. Use the selected format’s agenda and timing as a starting point, then adjust the available settings to fit your team.

Upcoming meetings

Analysis type by meeting lists the calendar events that have synchronized to the team, with their date and time. Check them before each meeting starts. A facilitator or administrator can choose a different format for one meeting from the list beside it. TenTenor saves the choice straight away. Change beside a meeting under Coming up in Meetings opens this tab.

Icebreakers

When available, turn on Enable icebreakers to have TenTenor Coach post icebreaker questions in the meeting chat when it joins. Choose the Number of icebreakers, the Topic (Both, Personal, or Professional), and one or more Depth levels: Light, Moderate, or Deep. Select Save, and choose a depth appropriate for the team.

Recording

An owner or administrator can choose the team’s Recording method: Meeting link or Record or upload audio. Both methods remain available from Add a meeting. One speaker per device associates each device’s audio stream with its participant. A facilitator or administrator can turn it on or off.
Leave One speaker per device off when people share a room microphone or device. Otherwise, their speech may be attributed to one person.
The setting applies to new recordings. Contact support if an earlier meeting needs help with speaker attribution.

One Thing

One Thing tracks a participant’s specific improvement goal across meetings. It must be enabled at both the organization and team levels. Use a concrete goal that can be observed in a meeting. For example: “State my proposed solution when I raise an issue.” See One Thing for how it works, how to set it, and how to write a good one.

Scribe

Turn on Enable Scribe for this team to capture spoken requests addressed to “Scribe…” during meetings. Scribe must also be on for the organization in Configuration. Review the results in the report’s Scribe tab.

Memory contribution

In Manage teams, open the team and use Memory contribution to choose whether the team has its own priorities, supports another team, or contributes only to organization context. Only owners and administrators can change it. Before selecting a receiving team, review how Insights sharing works. This can expose the supporting team’s memory and evidence to members of the receiving team.
